tile next to hardwood

Using 3/4 in oak prefinished hardwood in our master bedroom. We plan to use 12 in. Porceline tile in the bath is there a way to make a seamless transition ie. No t molding between the wood and the tile. There is no doorway and it will have lots of foot traffic. thanks

Yeah, just put a grout joint between the 2 surfaces. I personally like to use the grout colored caulk there because grout will develop a crack where it meets the wood. You will have to get your tile to about the height of the wood, so you will need to do some math considering the thickness of the tile, thinset and underlayment.

I personally would go with schluter. It is a transition but you barely notice it.
