Tile etching

I have tile for my pool decking. It gets ver slippery when wet. I am looking for a way to etch the tile to remove the glaze. Something safer than Hydroflouric acid.

It's hydrochloric acid I think!

Anyway, there are chemicals you can use that are supposed to make the tile slip resistant, look into those products. You aren't very likely to uniformly remove the glaze already on the tile.

You could also use an epoxy clear-coat product and sand it.
