Our slab has moisture level in some areas of 8-9 P. S. I.
I was considering using the Schluter Ditra membrane under the tile. How successful is this? Since thinset is the bonding agent to keep the membrane in place will it stay bonded over time?
I have been concerned about using an epoxy type of product directly on the slab that moisture could be transferred into wall cavaties where waterproofing is not applied.
Thanks for any ideas. barbwilsonrealty@cox.net

Is that a constant or seasonal PSI? Why is there moisture there to begin with? You should not try to seal that moisture in below the tile, that will never last. Don't use DITRA and don't use any epoxy products.

Don't do anything that will stop that substrate from being able to breathe and won't allow the moisture to evaporate naturally.
