dura ceramic tiles

I researched for about 4 months before I purchased dura ceramic tile for my kitchen and dinning room. Within 2 weeks, the white undercoating was coming through approximately 21 spots. The company I purchased and used for installation has been around a good 30 years. Once I had problems, they didn't want to know me. I called them 32 times the first year! The congoleum reps report stated abuse by us. Our kitchen garbage pail even scratched it up! The phone rep, when asked, said she has heard common complaints. At first she offered me $300 to replace tiles. It has gone up considerably. Like many others, I have pads on all of my chairs and tables, and my family takes their shoes off before entering the house. I am at the point of legal action.
