Jaz just reassured some lady from the Bahamas that the "Indoor use only" on her new tiles to be installed on a porch really only applied to areas with freeze/thaw cycles.

She had an absolutely great reply with:

Thank you for easing my mind about my purchase. I will make sure the ice cubes from the c**ktails dont freeze the tiles!

And then my mind wandered to other really funny threads, like the "bear bait" thread or the munchies thread with Bud giving the Ritz crackers and peanut butter and spices.

But who said, and it might have been 5 years ago, but I still laugh when I think of it:

"With a floor like that even carpet would crack"

And while we're at it, I've heard nothing of or seen no site updates from Shawn, heard of no updates on how Laura ever made out with her recovery from her potentially career changing events and what about Skip and her family?

Skip is stilling checking in every now and then. As far as I know they are doing much better. Haven't heard from Laura in a while but I think we'll see her around during the holiday season.

There was a couple of times that came up, and as I remember, once it was Richie, and once it was me.

I've also heard nothing from Laura or Shawn, but as for Skip, she was asked to lay low and not post on line because of the lawsuit with Roanoke.
