Hello and thanks for the great forum.
I am putting in a shower.
My question is, is it ok to use Tyvek behind my
Durock? Would this be over kill or cause any moisture
Problems.

Thanks for any input on this.

15 lb roofing felt or 4 mil posy sheeting. I would guess tyvek, which is an excellent moisture barrier on the outside of the house would allow too much vapor penetration? It is not much of a vapor retarder.

If you want a good use for any extra you have laying around the house, if you have kids, on a rainy day where they are all stuck inside and miserable, rollit across the floor, and give them each a new box of crayons or markers. It also makes the most indestructable book covers and the surface it perfect for writing upon.
