Hi,

I just installed my toilet flange on top of the ceramic tiles, and when I place the toilet on top, it sits about 1/4 inch above the tiled floor. Should I heave removed the tiles before to sit the flange on the concrete?

Strange, the flange sitting on the finished floor shouldn't be an issue, ow thick IS it?

The flange must not be sitting on the floor, that is the preferred way to do it. OR, Maybe you're using the wrong wax ring, yes, I think that's it. You must be using the wax ring with the rubber horn. Get a plain one.

Is the horn of the toilet clean or does it still have the old wax seal stuck to it?:

The flange on top of the tile is the way it should be done so look for something out of the ordinary because there is something wrong here.grin

Yes, I was using the wax ring with rubber horn. I switched for a standard wax ring and all works now. Thanks!
