I will be tiling halfway up my greenboard walls in the DRY area of my bathroom. Again, only in the DRY areas. Nowhere near water! The seems have been taped, joint compounded and sanded smooth.

I will be using Laticrete 255 Multimax thinset for the tiles. Is there any surface preparation I need to do to the walls first? Maybe put a coat of primer of some sort? I definately feel like I need to Prime/coat with something!

Thanks very much!

Nope, nothing you need to do other than make sure there's no drywall dust. Next time, skip the tape joint compound, the thinset and cbu tape would take care of that as you tile. You really need to mix the 255 for as long as the bag says and not any shorter.
