My front entrance needs a new floor. It seems to be a mud subfloor as I break the old tile part of the under layment gets broken or removed. So now I have floor that have a crumbled sub floor. What process should I use to install new cermaic tile? |

You could build it back with plywood and cement board or membrane or redo the mudbed. How thick is the mud bed? |

The mud bed seems to be 2 to 3 inches thick. |
