So I just finished my first tiling project. Well, the grout isn't in yet but all the tiles are set! I have a new found respect for those of you who tile as a profession. Although I am very proud of my project it was at times very frustrating and a sweaty job! So thank you for all your help and feedback and making this a success. Also, thank you for what you do, next time I may just pay a professional!

I would second that! I'm wrapping up my bathroom remodel this weekend and I have to say that the tile floor (first time I did this) turned out to be the easiest part because of all the help from this websire and the answers I got to my specific questions.

The only downside is because all you professionals here made it look easy for me my wife is thinking the kitchen should have tile too!

I'm glad it worked well for both of you. There is nothing like a nice tiled floor or wall to keep things sanitary.

Jim, you know your wife is right about tile in the kitchen. Matter of fact we should have tile in every room to reduce maintenance and breathing illnesses. Carpeting is an awful thing, and makes us sick. I'm guilty too however. Probably 2/3 of my house has carpeting. ;(It's an excuse in cold climates.
