I have a bathroom with a nice large granite vanity
I've seen 12"x12" matching tile that I think are 1/2" (maybe 3/8") thick. I was thinking that I would cut those 12x12 diagonally and make a few corner shelves in my shower now that Im redoing the tile in there. It would tie the spaces together nicely.
The question is how strong are granite that thick. The installation will be triangular granite tiles suspended on notched wall tile.
Will they hole up to normal sized shampoo bottles and a nudge or to while showering?

Thanks

Thanks RDT
One more question did you "cut" the shelf tile into the wall for support or is it simply resting on a wall tile?

Thanks

Just place thinset on the back of it and set it, clean any that oozes out and grout it well when you get to that.grin
