Jury Duty

Sitting here on Jury duty today, this sucks, at
Least they now have computers to use free, cool.

Wasn't picked, Yippeee.

Several months ago I was selected for the jury pool but not chosen for the first trial, so I wined to the judge and was excused.

I think all juries should be made up of elderly retired people and welfare recipients but not wage earners.

Your plan would be a disaster. Can you imagine the verdicts with only those groups of people as jurors? YIKES

Yes I can! That's the idea.

My wife's been summoned for jury duty 5 times since we've been married. I've never been summoned. Don't know how I lucked out.

I assume for nic is "Black Jack"? Maybe that has something to do with it?

I got jury duty 2 years ago, I was selected along with several other people who had to answer a series of questions on the stand but didn't get picked to be on panel. Think I answered questions too objectively, but I'm not complaining. I was filled with relief.

I was part of the pool but wasn't chosen so we all had to sit there while those that were chosen were questioned.

Those bastards had everyone's records and would openly ask individuals: "What about the DUI you got two years ago Ms. Jones?", What about that careless driving ticket your wife received two months ago Mr. Smith?" Mr. Green I see you spent a night in jail on October 3rd of 1997, tell us about that?

I showed up in a Lynard Skynard T shirt shorts and flip flops. I have no idea why I was not a "peer".

They probably would have liked to push you off a pier.
