absolute black granite was sealed

Hi, my absolute black granite was indeed sealed and it shows a lot of water marks/stains. It is my understanding from your website that it should NOT have been sealed. I contacted the kitchen design company, which is an extremely reputable company. This design company works with one specific granite company. I never received a bill from the granite company; it was included in my kitchen design contract.

I have contacted the kitchen design company and the person who has been handling my kitchen project. She states that she has never heard of such a thing. They seal all granite and have never had a problem with these dark granites that your website claims should not be sealed. She has been in the business for over twenty years.

I printed a few excerpts from the internet and faxed them to her last week. I followed up with her today and it sounds like they don’t believe the information regarding black granite and sealing, because the information I faxed to her was posted in blogs. She is going to contact the fabricator and let him be the expert—but it sounds like he isn’t aware of the black granite and sealing issue, because he seals ALL granite that leaves his store.

What can I do if I need to convince them and prove that my absolute black granite should not have been sealed and needs to be removed?
