I found the contact number for a replacment part for my Workforce tile saw on this website, then noticed it was in my manual (after I found the manual).

Home Depot was absolutely NO help on this matter.

The number is 1 866 513 6723
I had lost the on/off safey switch (making saw inoperable) - for ~$11 I had the part 2 or 3 days later!

You mean there is no "You can do it, we can help" at HD? How shocking! grin

I am in the home building and remodeling business and spend around $75,000. 00 a year at H. D. I purchased a 4" Workforce saw at H. D. But when I needed a replacement blade, they didn't sell them and were no help at all in finding one. Thanks for your great support H. D.

I also purchased this same saw at homedepot. Also needed a new blade for saw. Spend all day looking for new blade going store to store no one carries this blade. I think because of the odd arbor size. The only place you can purchase this blade is [workforcesupport.com] or call them at 1-866-513-6723

I agree that Home Depot won't help if you need a part for the 7" wet saw. I called the phone # given previously (866-513 6723) but they don't make this saw anymore, so will not supply parts. I don't know where to go now so GOOD LUCK.

I picked up one of these used for $150 to finish a master bath shower with porcelain tile and LOTS of cuts. The cheap tabletop saw was not getting it done quickly enough and hard to handle with large 13x13 thick porcelain. I was wary of the unit but now that I am over halfway into the job it has performed yoemans duty. I have a question though: Is this unit supposed to be so darn noisy? I have to wear ear plugs when using it. I suspect the spindle bearings are going bad and I wonder if these can be replaced as opposed to buying an entire new motor. May just be the brushes too - Just guessing though. Would be curious if anyone has any thoughts.

Thanks.

Nevermind - Motor seized after a few hours running. Returning it to the store for refund. Noise was either the brushes or bearings.

I picked one of the workforce tile saws up at a pawn shop for 50$, but think I'm going to take it back. The sliding table binds up and almost cut my finger off. Anyone have any ideas on how to make the table slide better? If not will sell for 50$. Thanks G

I have had mine for three years and have had no problems with it. If you use fine steel wool and wd 40 before and after each use, you should be fine.

I just wanted to thank Jay and Don for the information and the phone number. I also purchased a THD 850 from HomeDepot and went to buy the brushes but they don't sell any parts or have any idea how to get the parts. I asked for a phone # where I could call and they didn't have it. They said to just go to their website and put "parts" and you could order what you needed. Yah right!

I too have been going around in circles for a charger for a work force 18 V cordless drill.

Home Depo was no help either but they were willing to sell me a new drill.
